Haven't done one of these in a million years -- and now I have an extra need to do them, because I want to get rid of stuff before I go. Unfortunately, webhosting wobbles have caused me to miss the big ol' Black Friday wave, but expect a big update and subsequent sale announcement in a couple days.

Wow, it's been ... a really long time since I've done this. Partly it's because I've been too busy to make stuff, but partly I've just been distracted; I've made lots of little critters that got sent out into the world before I got really good photographs of them. It's cold enough now that I don't get all sweaty working with yarn, and I've actually got several crochet projects in-progress, but only one (pictured here) has actually gotten itself finished. Everything else is sparkly, and a lot of it's made from pieces I got when I was in Santa Fe.

I got a new jewelry stand! Unfortunately, I haven't quite figured out the ins and outs of making pictures work well with it. I think the answer may be to take pictures in either a brighter or a darker room than I've been using, because this sort of middle-ground dimness isn't good for clarity ( Read more... )
